Cool Concert
Jun. 27th, 2005 10:03 amWe went to see Queensryche and Judas Priest at Smirnoff last night.... Great Show!! Geoff Tate, QR's singer was in great form - long notes, highs, everything! They only played an hour though - that really sucked. Highlight was "Take Hold of the Flame" - done so well it moved me to tears (my favorite QR song).
Judas Priest was back to the old line-up, with Rob Halford singing.... that guy is incredible. He did tons of great songs - a sampling from many of their albums. Even sang some from their Sad Wings of Destiny album from the 70's - and sounded awesome. I was impressed. Very good show. TTFN
