A backlash is forming. Things are probably gonna get nasty in the short term.

I know I'm getting pretty pissed off at this mexican flag waving, non-english speaking bullshit.

I have always been tolerant and welcoming but really.... I'm sick of it.

I think this was a way, Ginny, for those who felt disaffected to show their love for their new found country. I do agree with what you say, but deep in my heart - as long as you show your love for your country, what's the harm?

I don't think it was at all. And they are planning it again for May 1st. They want to shut down cities. And for what - to show their power? To piss off whitey? To show their pride? No. They want all illegals to be let in. Simplification of their stated desires but that sums it up nicely. Total BS and I'm totally opposed. My backlash has begun. They can go home now.

I'm pretty sure that immigrants have to learn english and basic US history before they can gain citizenship.

I'm glad he's standing behind that, since we don't have an official national language.
