WASHINGTON - A single holdout kept the jury from handing a death sentence to Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person charged in this country in the 9/11 attacks.
But that juror never explained his vote, said the foreman of the jury that sentenced the confessed al-Qaida conspirator to life in prison last week.

Frankly, I don't think he had anything at all to do with 9/11. He's just batshit nuts.

Not that I have a problem killing the man for something he didn't do. After all, he's basically volunteered himself to be the scapegoat for 9/11.

I just wish we Americans were more honest about our real motives here.

I agree with max - maybe Moussaoui is nuts, but he got a fair trial, and now he gets to be "the rat in the maze" for the rest of his life.

Look at it this way: he's suffering. For a nice, long time.

From what I understand, he'll be in solitary for ever.
