Meh. I WAS interested in the iPhone, but there were two things that really killed it for me.
1) I need Exchange Server support, and I seriously doubt this thing has better Exchange support than my Windows Mobile 5 device.
2) This one is the real dealbreaker: Jobs has confirmed that third-party apps won't be allowed on the iPhone. Several of the apps I use on my Cingular 8125 are third party apps, like TCPMP, PocketPuTTY, and Galaga and Pac-Man.
It's a shame, really; the phone looks very nice and would be very good for sysadmins like myself. However, not being able to install stuff like a VPN client or a terminal program (provided iPhone doesn't come with Terminal.app and OpenSSH) makes it much less useless to me than my current phone.
