my word. Tell us how you really feel. ;) It is good for you to get it out though. The sad thing is that they say it often takes the length of the relationship to get over the relationship. An issue like what you described can have real far reaching effects. At least you didnt put up with it or let him make you feel it was ok.

It may sound lame, but counseling goes a long way with this kind of thing. I am not suggesting that YOU have a problem, but talking to someone who can really understand the underlying issues and emotions really helps get things straightened out. I spent years with a girl working through tons of crap from her previous boyfriend. I received all the suspicion and guilt that he deserved. It didn't do either of us any good.

Yeah - I've been looking. I don't respect most of them. But I'm looking. I DO have a problem - so it'd serve me well to talk it out. :-)
