Really strange.

The look like red blood cells and have no nucleus or dna or rna but they have a thick outer membrane and an inner capsule of plasma.
Note that mammalian red blood cells are also de-nucleated and have no dna.
There is no nitrogen in their makeup and no iron.
Very strange.
