Regarding China's recent brutal killings of 50,000 dogs (even beating to death dogs being walked by their owners)...

I have just read and signed the petition to the US Ambassador to China: "Say NO to mass dog slaughter in China"

It's interesting that this has so many people pissed off when China does far worse on a regular basis.

Well - speaking for myself - and considering my own dogs - they are totally trusting and affectionate. To beat them to death with sticks. To take them from unwilling owners and beat them in front of them - that just shows a serial killer mentality.
I know they are brutal and opressive - but come on. 50 thousand?
