Dear Friends and Family:
Every 21 seconds someone is diagnosed with diabetes. Every 21 seconds there is a new reason to walk.
I am proud to tell you that I will be walking in the America’s Walk for Diabetes fund-raising event to benefit the American Diabetes Association (ADA)—the nation’s leading voluntary health organization supporting diabetes research, information and advocacy. In addition to our personal reasons for participating, all of the walkers have one thing in common: we want to support the ADA’s mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
You can help by supporting my fund-raising efforts with a generous contribution. Your gift will be make an impact for the 20.8 million children and adults who live with this disease every day. Making a donation is easy: click here to visit my personal page.
If you want to do even more, think about joining me in this important event. Together, we can help set the pace in the fight against diabetes. Visit diabetes.org/walk to learn more about America’s Walk for Diabetes.
I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress. Thank you very much!
