2006

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Mine was mixed. It was nice to be able to spend time with all my family - including my sister - but I was pointedly alone.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 2006. I have absolutely nothing in my mind as to what I'm going to do with the year. No goals set, no trips planned, nothing at all. This is the first time ever that I didn't make resolutions. I'll make a few now....
- No pursuing guys. If any ask me out and I'm interested then fine - otherwise I just won't go out. And also - not to pursue once we've gone out. They will if interested.
- No continuing to be nice regardless of what happens - a little "get what you give" is going to come into play.
- Start thinking of myself first and then continue to do so instead of focusing on making everyone else happy and/or taking care of them.
- Try and learn how to like being a hermit.
- Learn how to say goodbye and mean it.
- Learn how to live without closure.
- Find a co-ed softball league and play. The weight loss is going great but I need some exercise and it's a good social outlet.

I haven't set any resolutions yet but I'm with you on several of yours, especially the closure. I hate not having closure, it makes it so hard to accept the end and move on. FYAD boys!

sounds like some good resolutions to have Ginny...Very good indeed!....=) I hope you can achieve them all...=)
The holidays bit badly for me...as usual...well, at least the last couple of years...It has to get better!...Now doesn't it?...heh
